Ball & Doggett investing in future
Ball & Doggett – Australia’s largest distributor of printable materials and consumables – is sponsoring the Fespa Future Leaders programme.
The company says investing in the industry’s future is widely recognised as the single most important action our industry must take. It says ‘the focus on professional and personal development is paramount if we are to secure the future of our industry’.
For many years, Ball & Doggett has invested in the development of its people through internal and external training, mentoring and third party course development. It says the promoting of the industry through established educational institutions such as universities, TAFE colleges ‘is part of our DNA’, and it says it provides ‘the introduction to our industry that many would normally miss out on’.
The company says, “We encourage those committed, courageous and career orientated individuals to talk to your current employer about nominating for the programme.”
Launched this year, the Fespa Future Leaders Program is a professional and personal development programme that the association says “fosters confident, committed individuals who show leadership skills and who will be next in line to contribute to the future success of Australia’s speciality print community.”
Presented by Fespa Australia, and supported by the Glen Crerar Scholarship fund, Fespa Future Leaders is an annual programme offered to applicants with open, creative, inquisitive minds who are currently in their early to mid-career, and already demonstrating leadership potential. A scholarship is awarded annually to the overall best student, to further their career.
